Hi Kyle. Can you tell us a bit
about yourself? Name, age, job, role in the story…
Name rank and serial number. Gotcha. *laughs* My name is Kyle
Morgan, I’m a detective for the Puyallup Police Department. I’m thirty, and I’m
the hero of this here story. *furrows his brow, trying his best to look
intimidating* Go ahead. Make my day.
Ceci: *Rolls her eyes, but the corners of her mouth twitch* You
do a terrible impression of Jackson’s Southern accent.
Kyle: *frowns at Ceci* That wasn’t Jackson. That was Clint
Eastwood. Dirty Harry? Come on!
Ceci: *presses her lips and holds up her hands in surrender* Oh,
my bad. I apologize. You do a terrible impression of Clint Eastwood, then.
*giggles*
Kyle: *laughs. Leans over to nibble on Ceci’s neck* Admit it. You
love it.
Ceci: *blushes. Turns to reviewer.* Next question, please.
How did you meet Cecelia?
Kyle: *sighs. Pulls himself from Ceci’s neck with reluctance.
Winks at her.* We’ll finish that later. *looking to interviewer* I grew up with
her. When I was in fourth…no, fifth grade, she moved in next door. I was ten
and she was seven. There’s a river that runs behind our properties. I was down
there one night after supper tossing stones into the water when she wandered
down. Apparently, I scared her, because she looked at me like I was going to
eat her. Took me a while to get her to talk to me.
What do you like the most
about her?
The legs are nice. *winks* Seriously, I can talk to her. About
anything. She also knows me better than anyone.
What is the sexiest thing
she’s done?
*laughs* Oh, hell, I’m easy when it comes to her. I’ve loved her
for a long time. She shows up and smiles at me.
Is there anything she does
that annoys you?
*winks* She snores.
Ceci: *glares at Kyle* I do not.
Kyle: *trying to hide his grin* She argues with me. She hasn’t
learned yet that I’m always right.
What is the most
embarrassing thing your author has done to you?
Kyle: *rolls his eyes to the ceiling and shakes his head* The
shirt. The luau shirt.
Joanne: *puts on puppy dog eyes. Pouts.* You don’t like the
shirt?
Kyle: *laughs uncomfortably. Rubs the back of his neck.* Oh, no I
love the shirt. Great shirt. Very festive. *turns to interviewer, eyes pleading*
Next question. Please.
If someone from your past
showed up, who would you NOT want it to be, and why?
Oh
geez. I’ve put a lot of ugly people in jail and I’ve had a few death threats
over the years. From my personal past, though, there aren’t many on this list.
I’m a live and let live kind of guy. For the sake of the question, though, I
suppose that would be my father. I’ve gotten through 25 years without him. I
sure as hell don’t need him now.
Are you happy with the way
your story ended? Why or why not?
*grins* Hell no. She stopped
right before we got to the good stuff. Left a guy hanging. *winks*
I think that’s it for now.
Thanks for being here with me today.
No problem. Thanks for having me.
